What causes a rash to appear when wearing jewelry?
My girlfriend sometimes gets a rash around her neck when she wears a necklace. That first time it was a necklace made of wood, the next time the chain was made of metal. The same type of skin rash caused. I know to avoid the rash, could they simply avoid wearing a necklace, but have no one know what could cause this reaction, or whether it is a sign of something more serious?
I agree , it is probably a nickel allergy, if she still wants to wear the offending jewelry to tell her you try clear nail polish to the part that touches the skin, It is not a cure, but it works.
